There may be a slight delay due to the number of patches being ordered. The company will accept orders of any size, ones and twos are fine, but if units organize with large orders it may increase the amount of money that will be contributed to the memorial fund due to minimized shipping and handling charges.
Ptero artist Bryan Snuffer has created a work to pay tribute to CG-1705.
According to Bryan:
'Unto Thine Hands' is a work in progress by military artist Bryan David Snuffer. It pays tribute to the Coast Guard "Guardians" from "Rescue 1705" that perished over the Pacific while on a search and rescue mission. We will never ever forget about you in our hearts to the unselfish dedication you had for others that where in distress at sea.
Twenty percent of each print sold goes to the CG Memorial Fund being designed right for Air Station Sacramento.
